So June 3rd was the 13th Anniversary of my first surgery with Dr. Paley. Hard to believe that it has gone by so quickly (though at the time it didn’t seem so.) What a ride it has been. I have learned so much from so many people including myself. Obviously that has helped determine my current career path and future graduate school decisions about a Physician Assistant program.

Currently, though I can’t help but continue to feel frustrated. My knees and ankles are fixed, time for these damn fixators to come OFF. Unfortunately, the x-rays I had done yesterday didn’t seem too promising. My left leg looks pretty good but my right one doesn’t seem to be making much progress at all. My hopes to have just a little bit of summer freedom have faded.

Ouch.
