Words cannot describe how wonderful I feel right now. Charleston has become home once again and it ROCKS. Yesterday I departed Pembroke, after a surprisingly dry good-bye to mom and dad, around 5:15 in the morning. After 3 pitstops, 4 tanks of gas, 1004 miles and 15 hours (RECORD TIME!) I made it.
Right now, I am sitting on the porch overlooking the intercoastal waterway on Folly Beach. Paddleboarders, dolphins, oysters popping and amazing scenery; I live here. 82 and sunny, not a cloud in the sky, yes please.

The view. I know, no complaints here. |
The countdown is also on. Three weeks and counting until I am a free woman. Never in my life have I been so ecstatic about surgery. Until then, I hope that I can keep this annoying, good for nothing infection under control. Blah, antibiotics.
At this point I think it’s fair to say that I have more to be happy about and grateful for so I am smiling. Just soaring with contentment 🙂
Love.
