Phew. My right leg has finally jumped on the band wagon (hopefully for good) and decided that it’s time to fully heal. Swelling has gone down and the sore is finally healing over. Today marks two weeks post-op, which is kind of hard to believe. Aside from the occasional ache every now and then, the intense pain has stopped and I am ever so grateful. Hopefully by December 2, I will get the go ahead from the doc that the cast is no longer needed and I can get back to life. Yay! For right now, riding my bike is the best I can do with the cast on. It’s actually a heck of a lot easier than walking and obviously quicker. Needless to say I think my little legs are on the mend, for real this time 🙂

The love of my life |
On an even happier note I have now raised over $1700.00 for the Paley foundation. The outreach from my friends and the Charleston community has been amazing. My favorite coffee shop here downtown made a very generous donation and I am without words to express my gratitude. Truly amazing. With 13 days left to raise money, I am confident that my goal of $2000.00 will be reached. Want to help? Go here and make a difference.
Love.
