What stands in between me and Africa? Only tomorrow. One more day and then I will be on a plane. A new adventure.

What am I looking forward to?
New people and a new culture. Disconnecting from everything and truly living in the moment. Living part of my dream and giving back in a big way.

What is scaring the shit out of me right now?
The thought of a new culture and how I will be viewed. The unbelievably long trip. How the lack that the Ugandan people experience will affect me especially upon my return amidst the holiday craziness. The unknown. It. Is. Scary.

But here is to adventure. And attempting to cram everything into two small pieces of carry on luggage.
