Here we go. It’s another ‘night before’ surgery. Even though it doesn’t get easier, I’m ready. Ready to conquer the OR and continue these baby steps to healing. This afternoon, I met with my surgeon who I have the utmost respect and adoration for. We are in this together.

In an effort to make the early post-operative days a little bit easier, I opted to do a juice cleanse today and flush my system out. Maybe that’s why I feel SO ready. Drinking tea out of my Mantra Mug is also very helpful.

This evening I also had the chance to share my story, LIVE, on The Mighty‘s facebook page. It was a humbling experience. My heart is full.
