Ever have those moments where you think to yourself, “I was in the right place at the right time,” or, “What a coincidence?”

Yeah, me too. But I’m also convinced that it isn’t luck or a coincidence. We are simply in the right place at the right time because we are exactly where we are supposed to be.

For example, the other morning, on a whim, I decided to stop for a latte at a new cafe that just opened down the street from me. While standing at the counter, a woman and I began talking and discovered that we had close mutual friends. She also worked for a publishing company.

What?!

Three years later and I am still trying to figure out my next move with my book and here I stood talking to a possible connection who was LOCAL. Coincidence? I think not.

Chris Asaad put it perfectly, “This phenomenon of seemingly meaningful coincidences is called synchronicity. It’s like a wink from the cosmos, a nudge from above to let us know that we’re on the right path and that we’re supported in the pursuit of our dreams and highest aspirations.”

My little run-in happened shortly after I finished reading the book ‘Dwarf’ by Tiffanie DiDonato. Reading her take on living with dwarfism and making the choice to undergo lengthening literally sparked the fire under my ass to get ‘Little Legs. Big Heart.’ published.

I’m one step closer, I just know it. I deserve to be heard, everyone does. I believe that my dream is real. I have faith that it will happen.
